workbook designer
At Do The Work Books, I believe personal well-being and organizational health grow when people have space to pause, reflect, and connect. In a fast-moving digital world, reflective, pen-to-paper tools offer something grounding. My work focuses on creating workbooks, journals, and worksheets that open the door to deeper self-awareness and meaningful action.
That’s why I collaborate with organizations in two intentional ways:
For Teams — Supporting HR, Learning & Development, People & Culture, and Wellness teams by designing reflective tools that strengthen employee well-being, leadership development, and mental health initiatives.
For Brands — Partnering with wellness brands, coaches, facilitators, and educators to design custom workbooks and journals that enrich programs, courses, retreats, and client experiences.
This role brings ideas to life on paper. It turns insights into something people can hold, work through, and return to long after the session or workshop is over. If your organization is exploring ways to integrate reflective learning or workbook design into your programs, I’d love to connect and see how I can support your team.

Location: Remote (Canada)
Position Type: Contract, PArt-timE or Full-Time
Role: Workbook Designer / Journal Designer / Reflective Learning Designer
The Role
As a Workbook Designer, I design interactive tools that support personal reflection, employee development, and program integration. Working with your HR, L&D, or Wellness teams, I help translate concepts, models, and frameworks into well-structured workbooks, worksheets, and journals that spark clarity and engagement.
What I Do
Collaborate with program leads, facilitators, and wellness experts to co-create workbooks and reflective tools
Translate complex concepts into accessible, interactive formats
Design clear, thoughtful pen-to-paper experiences that encourage reflection, goal-setting, and application
Ensure materials are visually engaging, easy to navigate, and aligned with your culture
Adapt workbook frameworks for diverse audiences (corporate teams, wellness programs, leadership retreats, coaching groups, etc.)
Offer creative consultation on integrating reflective tools into training, wellness, or mental health initiatives
Examples include
Pairing a workbook with a workshop so participants can prepare, reflect, and continue the work after the session
Adding journaling components to leadership programs, helping managers bridge learning with day-to-day behaviour
Creating guided journals for wellness or mental health initiatives, giving employees a private place to process stress and set goals
Why These Tools Matter
Reflective resources extend learning far beyond a single event. They help:
deepen self-awareness
improve leadership confidence
reduce stress
support mental health
strengthen team culture
create shared language and frameworks
increase ROI for training and wellness programs
A well-designed workbook becomes a companion, not a deliverable. It’s something people return to again and again.
My Experience
I bring a unique blend of:
workbook and print design
coaching and facilitation
content structuring and curriculum support
reflective writing
mental health and wellness awareness
user-friendly, visually clean design (Adobe, Canva, and print production tools)
experience working with leaders, educators, and wellness professionals
I’m committed to creating tools that feel supportive, grounded, and genuinely useful.
Why This Role Matters
When people have access to thoughtful reflective tools, transformation becomes possible. These workbooks and journals help bridge the gap between inspiration and real-life action. They contribute directly to healthier teams, stronger leadership, and a culture where reflection and growth are encouraged.
Growth & Development
I see this work as an evolving partnership. As your programs grow, I help shape the reflective tools that support them. Together, we can build resources that impact hundreds or thousands of people.
